August R. Butera, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, ATG, Chicago, Illinois 

Mr. Butera is the manager of the ATG Legal Department, oversees the management of the ATG Escrow, Compliance, Underwriting and Commercial Departments, and handles title insurance claims and litigation. He is also Senior Vice-President of The Judicial Sales Corporation and Vice-President of ATG LegalServe, Inc., both subsidiaries of ATG. He has served on the Board of the Illinois Land Title Association and is a past President. He is currently on the Board of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association. Mr. Butera has been part of the ATG legal staff since 1986 and has considerable background in title searching and closing problems. His experience includes eight years as an employee at the Cook County Recorder of Deeds.

Joseph R. Fortunato, Jr. will join the Lisle firm of Momkus LLC as a partner, effective April 1, 2020.  He is a past Chair of the ISBA Real Estate Section Council, a past Chair of the DuPage County Bar Association Real Estate Law & Practice Committee, the former President and former Board member of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, counsel to Mainstreet Organization of Realtors® since 2001, a member of the drafting committee of the Multi-Board Residential Real Estate Contracts, and a frequent lecturer for the Illinois State Bar Association and regional bar associations.  He has testified extensively as an opinion witness in cases involving real estate law issues.  In 2015 he authored a book entitled “Getting Started as a Real Estate Attorney” published by the ABA.

Nicholas Tyszka is a transactional attorney who focuses most of his practice on real estate matters.

A past chair of the Real Real Property Law committee at the Chicago Bar Association, Nick currently serves as the vice president of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association and the treasurer of the Catholic Lawyers Guild of Chicago.

One of the eleven attorneys who participated in the drafting of the Multi-Board 7.0 form, Nick is a frequent lecturer on form contracts in Illinois, as well as trending topics facing practitioners.
